Overview

This is a bike for born competitors. Taking its design directly from the CBR1000RR Fireblade, the new CBR650R is an ultra-sharp beast with sporting intent, fierce power, and exceptional torque. Discover a place without borders: your obsession.

Born on the racetrack, turning heads on the street.

Drawn directly from the sport style of the Fireblade, the CBR650R has honed its racetrack DNA for aggressive road performance. The step and handlebars have been readjusted to give you the optimal riding position to easily manage the accelerations, decelerations, and cornering that come with tackling thrilling winding roads, and the front tyre has been reweighted to improve the bike’s turn-in capability. Up front piercing dual LED headlights fill out the tightly wrapped fairing, mirrored by the minimal seat unit. And the electrifying roar of the exhaust chasing the redline will make your hair stand on end.

Key Features

Let’s talk facts. The peak power of this beast has been boosted to 70kW. But there’s an easy conversion available from Honda dealers to make it A2 licence friendly. The CBR650R leads its class in power-to-weight ratio. The 64Nm torque is exceptional, and the redline is now 12,000rpm. The inline four-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine attracts attention.

An Assist/Slipper Clutch eases upshifts and manages hard down changes, while Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) maintains rear wheel traction so you can focus on racing through turns. The twin-duct intake system features improvements to the interior structure of the air cleaners, and increased tailpipe diameter produces piercing pick-up response from around 7,000 rpm.

About Honda Finance

Honda Finance Europe is part of the Honda Group of companies. Since 1997 we’ve been going from strength to strength, annually providing more than £350 million pounds to Honda customers.

We only finance Honda products, meaning we have no other commercial interest other than helping Honda customers purchase Honda products. After all, who better to fund your Honda than the people who built it?

As a member of the Finance Leasing Association we adhere to their strict codes of conduct. Our activities are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, which includes our car and motorcycle dealer network, some of who are Specialist Automotive Finance (SAF) accredited. Trained and reviewed by us, we work with our dealers to ensure the standards of finance expertise you would expect from a Honda dealer.

Historically, the only way to finance your new motorcycle was to take a traditional bank loan from a high street lender - how times have changed. Traditional methods of funding today aren’t always the most cost effective way of funding your new Honda, especially for customers who require a simple, flexible and convenient finance to suit their needs.

We hope you are able to make use of our finance products to help make owning a Honda even more affordable.
